A New Year's reveler started off 2018 by racking up some pretty hefty debt — a $2,200 taxi ride through three countries.
BBC News reports the Oslo resident, who partied enough to need some transportation help, hailed a cab and just rode — from Copenhagen in Denmark, through Sweden, and finally to Norway's capital, Oslo.
That's a 372-mile trip.
When the 40-something arrived at his destination, he refused to pay up.
The cabbie was stranded when his battery failed (probably worn out from that darn trip). So, he phoned the cops.
Oslo police (through a series of tweets) say they found the guy asleep in bed. When they woke him up, he agree to pay up.
