Not even a little bit. Could you even imagine the Steelers' all-time sack leader (80.5) in a red, white and blue uniform?
But, yeah. That rumor seems to be panning out.
It's not odd at all that the Patriots are looking. Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald writes:
"The Patriots could use some help on the edge. ... and the Patriots could use a little more depth until Kyle Van Noy returns, though he has spent most of his time as an inside linebacker."
There's always gonna be those fans that hear a famous name and get pumped.
But most fans (Patriots and Steelers) didn't seem over enthusiastic about the idea, either.
Some were nervous about the prospect.
Some were trying to be kind:
Some were stunned.
Others just eyed a chance to be vicious.
But then, there's always a glimmer of hope for Steeler Nation:
Harrison cleared waivers Monday and became a free agent. The Steelers released him Saturday to make room for right tackle Marcus Gilbert, returning from suspension.
