What's better than a 24-hour marathon of our favorite Christmas movie?

How about a Lego set that we can play with 365 days a year!?

One central New York family's personal mission could turn into reality: An official Lego set re-creation of the house from "A Christmas Story."

Jason Middaugh and his family wanted to re-create the Cleveland house, characters and items from the classic film.

And that includes Ralphie in his pink bunny suit, the box marked "Fragile," and even the leg lamp.

The family loved their six-month efforts so much, they submitted their design to Lego Ideas . The 2,000-plus-piece set has generated tons of support on the Lego site.

But it's not a done deal. Lego Ideas won't even review the concept until the project gets more than 10,000 supporters. The Middaughs' set is nearly there. At last look, it was just over 9,000 likes.

Take a look for yourself and see what you think. If you like what you see, head to their Lego Ideas page and help the family out (you'll need to register (free) with Lego first).
