The 16-time WWE champ showed up at a special announcement that, after 12 years off, the famous Nickelodeon kids' show is being rebooted.
Whether the PR stunt was for real or just show, the show's original host — Steve Burns — is serious about wanting to return as host.
TMZ caught up with Burns, who expressed his feelings about why he would work best as the show's host.
TMZ is reporting they've been told the "Blue's Clues" reboot team is considering bringing a woman in as the new host.
Of course, fans of the original are petitioning to #BringBackSteve.
TMZ reports the production team hasn't ruled Burns out yet. But they do have an open casting call set for April 18 in Burbank.
What is know about the reboot is that not much will change. The host will still don the tradition green-striped polo and khakis.
